What a way to start the school year!!!!!! Jane Kitson was just what our teachers needed to get ready for a great year teaching preschool children.  She was so motivating and her high energy level made the workshop not only informative but fun as well.  She provided real life educational experiences through stories and activities.  The audience participated in activities and actually had the opportunity to make materials to use with students.  Her creativity was contagious and the teachers left excited about what all they could implement in their lessons for the upcoming year.  If you have the opportunity to attend one of Jane’s workshops, I highly recommend it.

Jane,

Thanks so much for presenting at the Leaping for Literacy Early Childhood Conference on Saturday, October 20, 2007 and conducting your children’s programs at our local child care facilities.  The evaluations received at the conference were very positive.  They asked that we have you back for future events and programs.  The audience commented on how energetic the class was and how much information could be brought back and applied in their day to day experiences with young children.  It is great to have a knowledgeable presenter that gives practical ideas to utilize in the classroom.  Several teachers commented on how they enjoyed the fact that the activities and songs along with props were teacher made from inexpensive or recycled items.  Again, thanks for bringing your experience and excitement to our conference and keep on impacting the lives of teachers and young children in a positive way!

Jane Kitson was the keynote speaker for our local early childhood educator’s conference on March 31, 2007. Jane actively engaged the participants in fun and educational songs and fingerplays for children. She sparked the excitement of the participants and many were overhead talking about what activities they couldn’t wait to use in their classrooms. Not only did Jane speak to the early childhood educators in our area, she also shared a children’s show. The children delighted in her stories and fingerplays and it was obvious how well rhyme and repetition works in building children’s language skills. We highly recommend Jane to speak at any conference that involves teachers of young children and if you have the opportunity to participate in a children’s show you should jump on the chance!

Let me tell you how pleased I was with the workshop you did for our small group of teachers.  I heard nothing but positive comments from everyone I spoke with both during and after the workshop.  My only regret is that we didn't have more of our early childhood people in attendance.  They missed a phenomenal workshop.  I don't know how you do it my friend.  I wore out just watching you work.

The neatest part of the whole deal though is what I saw at our Learning Center the very next week.  When I went down to greet the children one morning, there was one of our teachers using one of the matching games she had picked up at the workshop.  She was having a great time with her kids and they were learning.  How cool is that?

I pray that you are well, and that the Lord is blessing you and your family.

Everyone who complained about being there on a Saturday has told me how much they have loved the workshop.  I have not heard “The Wheels on the Bus”  once this week.

Jane, Your workshop, “Let’s Leap into Literacy and Make Language Learning Fun”, was GREAT!  Each of our preschool classrooms have already begun to put your ideas of rhyme, rhythm and repetition into action.  They are taking your ideas and adapting them for their classrooms to make them work for the children they teach.  Our Speech Pathologists already knew how wonderful your ideas were, but they, too, have a renewed excitement in the treatment they provide our preschoolers.  Everyone at First Step, Inc. is singing yours songs this week…and your praises, too.  Thanks so much for a wonderful day and for so many fun ways to approach children and learning.  Rita Powell, Therapy Director, First Step, Inc.

Dear Mother Goose, (Jane)

What an awesome experience!  The children are still talking about you and the insects.  You know you are a success when parents pick their children up and ask, "What did you do at school today?"  The children reply: "Mother Goose came and talked to us about insects and she taught us a lot of new songs."

The preschool and kindergarten teachers enjoyed having you as much as the children did.  Besides being very entertaining, you taught us some wonderful facts about insects.

Thank you once again for a great way to end our week.  We hope that your schedule will permit you to join us again next year for another exciting, educational, and entertaining lesson.

Jane,

I hope you had a safe trip home last Saturday.  Just want you to know how much we enjoyed having you in our area.  Our spring 2007 Child Development Seminar was a great success because of you.  Not only did everyone get a lot of good ideas, they had fun in the process.  Best wishes to you in and hopefully you will present another seminar for us in the future.

Thanks again and have a great day.

Jane Kitson delivers an upbeat, energizing and interactive keynote.  She gets the audience involved in her message.  Weeks after Jane delivered a keynote for our group of about 230 child care professionals they are still raving over her.  If you are looking for someone who can entice your audience while providing them with an abundance of information that they are sure to use in the future then look no further than Jane.

Jane Kitson is full of energy and is able to excite any type of early childhood educator!  Her spunk, wit, humor, and love of learning is evident in the wide variety if topics she is able to speak on.  When Jane talks, her positive tone and enthusiasm is captured by many!

I serve as the chairperson for the Missouri District (LCMS) Early Childhood Conference.  This past March (2007) we had Jane present three sessions at our event and also serve as a keynote speaker during the conference luncheon.  I had been in contact with Jane for nearly a year before the event, and her professionalism is evident in her preparations.  Jane is certainly a valuable and worthwhile speaker for early childhood educators.

Participants at our event couldn’t wait to talk with Jane after her sessions.  She has written her own songs and fingerplays, which are wonderfully developmentally appropriate for young learners.  Laughter, fun, and song spilled from the rooms she was presenting in.  We will certainly have Jane back in the future!

Jane Kitson has come to our school for several years now.  Each and every time she comes the children are mesmerized by her fun presentation.  She uses both quiet and active tactics to keep their attention and the children are always learning something new.  The last visit she made to our school, she left the building during carpool time.  All of the children wanted to say “goodbye” and touch “Mother Goose.”  She leaves them anxiously waiting for the next visit. I have also had the privilege of working with Jane as she trains teachers.   She gives the teachers fun, practical, and simple ideas for finger plays, classroom management, and songs that keep the children’s attention.  The teachers leave excited and anxious to go back to their classrooms to use what they have learned.  Jane takes the term “hands-on” to heart and shows that in each of her workshops.
